The Paisley Prince Songbook design was created in 2018 and launched publicly in January 2019. The artwork was originally hand-drawn on paper by designer Patrick Moriarty in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, UK. He has always been a big fan of Prince Rogers Nelson R.I.P. The songs of Prince have inspired Patrick since the 1980's. The artwork includes references to lots of Prince's amazing songs. Can you guess the names of all the songs? It's an enjoyable challenge to try to guess all the Prince songs in the design. The artwork is now available as a wall art poster.
Patrick specializes in creating unique new paisley patterns every year for major fashion retailers and his own fashion accessory and home-ware brand called Paisley Power. Prince was very fond of the paisley pattern too. He named his recording company and recording studios Paisley Park. He had a worldwide hit record with the song Paisley Park.
This artwork is available as an A3 size poster. A customer in UK bought one a few days ago to have framed and then hang it in her music room.
